Upcoming Event: The Law and Your Community

October 9, 2024 – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium, 50 South Main Street

A nationally recognized, interactive training program for teens and young adults ages 13-18. This program is designed to increase participants’ knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and to teach appropriate ways to respond during encounters with law enforcement officers.

Co sponsors: West Hartford Police Department; National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), CT Chapter; West Hartford African American Social and Cultural Organization (WHAASCO). Components include Citizenship, Law Literacy, Law Enforcement Engagement.
