West Hartford Community Interactive (WHCI) invites you to kick off summer with a chance to win cash and support our hometown station’s streaming teams. Our 50/50 raffle offers a win-win opportunity to help fund local media and community projects that connect residents through coverage of municipal meetings, local sports, and special events.
What’s at stake?
The raffle features is a 50/50 with a twist. Five winners will split 50% of jackpot with the remaining proceeds supporting WHCI’s efforts. The drawing will be held electronically on June 13, 2025, at 8:00 pm, the last day of school. You will receive your ticket number via email by clicking the “View Receipt” button in your confirmation email. We’ll split the pot with five lucky winners!
Why support this raffle?
Your donation helps us acquire essential gear and personnel to stream community events, ensuring that West Hartford’s stories are told and events accessible to all. Historically, our funding came from cable as support for providing a local channel on their systems. With all the changes, many of the customers are counted and our funding is dropping. We’re working on legislative changes to ensure all video subscribers are counted. Currently, we’re offsetting a $6,000 drop in our Q1 funding compared to last year.
