The air is getting cooler, the leaves are starting to turn and the familiar sights and sounds of high school sports are back in West Hartford. With the 2026 fall season ready to begin, we take a closer look at Hall’s fall sports and the key players, teams and storylines that could shape the Titans’ season.
Football
Hall enters the 2026 season looking to improve on a 4-6 record from a year ago. The Titans return several players who saw significant action last season, including quarterback Noah Kabakoff, wide receiver Jordan Scher, wide receiver and defensive back Spencer Boucher-Zazzaro and linebacker and running back Ben Carlson.
Scher earned All-CCC honors in 2025 and returns as one of Hall’s notable returning players. Kabakoff takes over at quarterback following the graduation of Tommy Hussey, who led the Titans through the 2025 season.
The Titans will once again compete in the CCC and Class L, with the regular season highlighted by the annual crosstown rivalry against Conard.
Boys Soccer
Hall reached the CCC championship game and advanced to the Class LL semifinals during the 2025 season. The Titans advanced through the state tournament with wins over Fairfield Warde, Brien McMahon and top-seeded Naugatuck before falling to Staples, 3-1, in the semifinals.
Hall’s run to the CCC championship game included a semifinal victory over Farmington before the Titans fell to Tolland on penalty kicks in the conference final.
The Titans open the 2026 season with a rematch against Tolland on Sept. 8. Tolland enters the season as the defending Class M champion and is seeking a third consecutive state title.
Girls Soccer
Hall advanced to the Class LL state tournament in 2025 before its season ended with a 1-0 first-round loss to Trumbull.
Senior Kyra Baun returns after earning All-State honors as a junior. The Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association selected Baun to its 2025 Class LL All-State team, while she was also selected for the Girls Academy National Selection Game during the offseason.

The Season Ahead
The 2026 fall season gives Hall another opportunity to compete for conference and state success across six sports.
