office for a period of one year. It is recommended that the election be conducted in accordance with

Recommendation: THAT the Board of Education establish a Non-lapsing
Unexpended Education Funds account, in accordance with section 10-248a of the
Connecticut General Statutes, and authorize the deposit of unexpended funds from
the General Fund appropriation for education into said account at fiscal year-end.
